Event publicist Tonya Lewis both learned about the horrifying dropout statistics plaguing the schools in New York City. The two combined their love and passion for youth, as well as their entertainment industry relationships and resources, to develop the I WILL GRADUATE brand. Since that time, I WILL GRADUATE has provided the essential youth development academic and arts in education programs, mentor-ship, youth activation events to help change the minds, attitudes, and perceptions about education to our youth and community.

In 2005, music industry executive turned educator J.P Taylor, and former educator turned celebrity event publicist Tonya Lewis both learned about the horrifying dropout statistics plaguing the schools in New York City.
