Must be an NYC resident

Must have an interest in social change/action

Must be between the ages 16-24

Passionate about the issues effecting youth across the City

One-year commitment

Estimated minimum of 8-hour monthly time commitment (does not include retreats or special events)

Must be able to travel to throughout the City for meetings with their peers and providing HUB support

Must be able to attend an out of the city overnight retreat

Must attend be able to attend “Super Saturday” trainings

Participate in weekly Council Meetings

Attend overnight retreats (transportation and lodging will be provided)

Required to attend Youth Summit (TBD)

Read and respond to weekly update emails

Work closely with other members to complete action plans developed by the council

Active social media campaigns

Advocate for services such as mental health, environmentalist across NYC communities

Support a community center youth council
